HITRUST Programs

In 2009, HITRUST programs will shift from one program aimed solely on the development of the Common Security Framework (CSF) to a suite of integrated programs focused on the enhancement, adoption, implementation and support of the CSF by the healthcare industry. Through these activities, HITRUST programs intend to not only expand the CSF, but also impact information security within the healthcare industry.

Enrollment in a HITRUST Program provides individuals and organizations the opportunity to learn more about the CSF, impact the direction of future versions and even become certified to implement the framework.
